MOTORCYCLE SKILLS TRAINING CLASSES

Motorcycle skills training classes will be taught by Gary Lewandowski

   (2)  "abbreviated" 3-hour classes have been added to the schedule for Friday, August 27th in Escanaba, Michigan. This will be during the Annual Michigan State HOG Rally!

The AM class will be from 9:00 AM till noon, the PM class will be from 1:00PM till 4:00PM. Costs have been reduced to only $100.00 per student!

Registration will be handled on a "first come first serve" basis and class size will be a maximum of 10. To register, please send a $50.00 deposit along with your contact information, years of experience and type of motorcycle to the following:

The regular PLAP Classes for groups of up to 6 participants will run approximately 4 hours long - from 9a.m – 1p.m.

  • Classes for groups that are from 7 - 10 participants will run approximately 5 hours long from 9:00AM till 2:00PM.
  • Normal training classes will be held at the Shrine Auditorium & Conference Center, located at 24350 Southfield Road, Southfield, Michigan 48075.
  • These classes are for riders with at least 1,000 miles experience who want to enhance their riding skills through a training program that includes riding and braking techniques taught to police motor officers around the world.
  • Attending this 4 hour class will increase your confidence, riding skills and safety immensely!
  • The class cost is $150.00 per person.
  • Returning students will be offered a discounted rate of $125.00 per class!
  • A Non-Refundable $50.00 deposit, per student, is required at the time of registration to reserve your place in the class.
  • Each class will consist of a maximum of 12 riders and will be booked on a “first come” basis.

Ride Like a Pro – Great Lakes is available to travel to your location, provided there is not another RLAP franchise within 200 miles!

There is a minimum charge of $2,250.00 for one class up to 15 students and $3,600.00 for two classes with 12 students per class.
(Fees are subject to change due to additional expenses for locations)

The full fee is payable prior to the class date.
The organizer must come up with a location with a parking lot minimum size of approximately 150' x 200'. Generally, any location that has the MSF course is suitable.

 Gary can also provide "One on One" classes at a rate of $100 per hour
A minimum of 2 hours recommended and advanced scheduling is required.

Your registration for a class date will be confirmed by E-Mail once your deposit and registration form are received.
All riders attending any training class must provide their own motorcycle and wear proper protective gear, including but not limited to: (DOT) approved helmet, gloves, eye protection, long pants, and boots or shoes that cover the ankles.

**A crash bar or engine guard is recommended but not required for attendance.
